Film & Video Production

The art of video production requires a unique understanding of both aesthetics and technology. As a SDSCPA video major, students complete a number of digital video projects both individually and collaboratively. Building upon the techniques they learn in their other required design courses students majoring in video will also receive in depth training in all three phases of digital project production; pre-production, production and post-production.

As students progress through the program, they will utilize the skills acquired during classroom and lab instruction to produce their capstone senior project portfolio. These projects range from short films, music scoring, visual effects, websites and explore different media delivery formats.

This program is based on cinematic arts pathway and prepares students for post-secondary education and twenty-first century careers in the arts related industries.

Multimedia

Multimedia explores the real world applications of the arts, focusing on design and how it pertains to a variety of contemporary technologies and software such as, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects and Premiere Pro.
